Hydra — Developed with NEMC support as an open-source project, the Hydra platform consolidates equipment inventory and tool availability across multiple technical facilities into a single centralized interface. Underpinned by a dynamically updated database, Hydra integrates live data retrieved directly from each connected facility’s Laboratory Management Systems (LMS) to deliver accurate, real-time information. Facility managers retain control over which tools and information are shared with Hydra from their own LMS, with locally updated data seamlessly transferred to maintain a continuously refreshed database.
